Joint Mobilization

Joint Mobilization focuses on treating joints – where a bone articulates with another bone – and surrounding tissues such as ligaments, tendons, capsules, cartilage, fascia, etc.

 

RMTs are qualified to mobilize joints within and just at the limit of their typical range of movement, referred to as grades 1, 2, 3, or 4 joint mobilizations.  Only Chiropractors, some Osteopaths and some Naturopathic Doctors (NDs) are qualified to mobilize a joint past its typical range of movement, referred to as a grade 5 joint mobilization.
